Avid readers may have noticed a two month break in the reporting of events from St Lucia. This was due to an extremely quiet time and little action. That said we have gathered a few photos of visitors and flora and the odd one or two of us taking it easy…actually the ones of Jeff are him toiling in the garden!
This Calla lily used to be pure yellow but this year developed red splodges.

We had a flying visit our nephew Stu, it was great to see him so relaxed and clearly loving Island Life.

The garden  is in full bloom, even enough for cut flowers to grace the house.

Star Fruit or Carambola as they are known here.

We also went out sailing a lot and on two occasions were accompanied by our friend Pascal and her girls.

The skipper with his crew.

With the impending stormy season we decided it was time to get rid of the tree branches that over hang the house. Our friend Kurt brought a great tree cutter from the south of the Island who managed to fell huge branches with very little damage to the plants below. We now have great views of the bearded trees behind and more light in the house

A map like that keeps you on your toes!
