It is the holiday season at the Bullen house. Our first visitor was Tess from Sutton Benger who tested the room and house for us, coming up with suggestions for a more comfortable stay. The big one was for a blind in her room as the sun hit it at 5am and scorched her legs! Windows closed and fan on was the ideal mosquito deterrent and temperature. We did a lot of sitting around the pool relaxing and drinking as well as the usual boat trips. We did sail to Martinique for a day and a night to keep the boat legal in St Lucia for its duty free status. Here we enjoyed a good meal, great French coffee and a shop in a European type supermarket. The” must buys” are wine, cheeses, dishwasher salt and rinse aid. The sail there was a bit rough but we had a great sail back in near perfect conditions.

We had a weeks break to regroup after Tess left and prepared for Fi’s arrival. She was so excited about being back in St Lucia but particularly to see her house and Foxy. It was a noisy few days as she squealed with delight at every new discovery. A week after her arrival came the flat mates; five blondes armed with new teeny bikinis ready to let their hair down after the final degree exams. They have been such fun and Jeff is coping very well living with seven females. His street cred knows no limits as he parades his harem each evening at Chateau Mygo or drives around with half the girls in the back of the truck. We have been to see waterfalls, swim in riverbeds, had BBQ’s, surprise parties and lots of music and dancing. Listening to their tales of university life has given us great insight and we are sure they all deserve firsts in partying as well as the subjects they have been studying.

Pina coladas and coconut, the ideal way to cool down after a long flight!

An early morning trip to market.

The band tuning up for a memorable rendition of "Happy Birthday"

BIRTHDAY BOY!

Not really a case of "Too May Cooks"...
Tomorrow we are off quad biking through the rain forest, which they are all excited about and next weeks plans are just beginning to take shape. We are getting a lot of invitations to do stuff which is down to having six attractive housemates. I bet once they have gone it will be back to normal.
A great way to travel.
Foxy getting to know about balloons.
Lunch at the Pitons.
They all leave at the beginning of July and then my Mum arrives for a few weeks. John and Vic are here in August. It is great to share this great place with such nice people!
Canaries waterfall never looked so good.
